Alappuzha: Muthoot Group Scion Paul Murdered

Alappuzha, Aug 23: Paul M George (33), son of prominent Kerala businessman and Muthoot Finance Group chairman M G George, was stabbed to death by a group of 12 unidentified men in the early hours of Saturday August 22.

The incident occurred Pallatuthi near Ponga on the Changanacherry-Alappuzha stretch when Paul, who is also the executive director of the Muthoot Group was returning from a resort. The police are still clueless about the assailants and suspect that business rivalry might have led to the crime. 

Police informed that the assailants fled away in Paul’s car after murdering him.
