Bantwal, Aug 24: Ganesh Chaturti was celebrated with pomp and gaiety across the taluk on Sunday August 23.  

Various social welfare and voluntary organizations organized public celebrations of Ganesh Chaturti here on Sunday, despite the rise in prices of daily necessities as well as fruits and flowers.

  




Religious and cultural programmes were organized at Jakribettu, Vamadapadav, Narikombu, Kalladka, Panemangalur, Nayeela, B C Road, Farangipet, Neralakatte, Sajipamunnur, and other regions in the taluk.
