Mangalore: Railway Employee Found Dead – Colleagues Suspect Murder

Mangalore, Aug 24: A Railway department employee was found dead in railway quarters area near central railway station here on Monday, August 24. 

The deceased has been identified as Hareendra (52), a resident of Pallikunnu near Kannur in Kerala. Residing in railway quarters here, Hareendra was working as a point man in traffic section of the railway department.



The body has been found in a condition which points at the possibility of the deceased being pushed by someone. Gold chain of Hareendra has gone missing, but his cell phone has been found lying a few metres away from the body. Colleagues of the deceased suspect it to be murder as there was no apparent reason for him to commit suicide.
 
Police arrived at the spot and the body has been shifted to Wenlock hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
