Mangalore: Assets Worth Over Rs 1 Lac Stolen From Cell Phone Shop

Mangalore, Aug 26: An incident of theft of assets worth over Rs 1,00,000 occurred in a shop selling mobile phones situated near Central Market here in the intervening period of Monday August 24, 8.15 pm to Tuesday August 25, 6.00 am. 

 








The incident came to light when one of the three owners of the shop arrived at the shop to open for the day. Thieves entered into the shop by breaking open the shutter lock and made way with 12 new cell phone sets worth Rs 80,800, recharge coupons and old mobile sets worth Rs26,000.    

The shop is owned by three partners Yahya Khan, Sandeep and Kishore Kumar. The doq squad and finger print experts were pressed into service. Mangalore North police have registered a case based on complaint by Kishor Kumar, one of the partner.
