Mumbai, Dec 16: On Saturday, a 7-year-old girl was electrocuted in a KL-type Cidco building in Sector 4E, Kalamboli.

Unfortunately for the young girl she unknowingly stepped on a live wire which had fallen on an iron staircase of the building. The victim has been identified as Arya Kodag.

“The girl, along with her mother and brother, had gone for a birthday party on the second floor. Around 7.30 pm, when they were going downstairs, the girl was walking ahead and was electrocuted. Her mother and brother were unhurt as they had not stepped on the stairs. She was rushed to MGM Hospital in Kamothe, where she succumbed at 8.45 pm," Inspector Satish Gaikwad said.
