Mumbai, Dec 17: On Monday, passengers of a BEST bus showcased disappointment over the employment of a bus driver and a conductor. As per the passengers, the bus driver and the conductor concerned had no clue regarding the routes to the specific destinations. The driver got on the right track after being advised to do so by the ones travelling in the bus.
The bus was for route 88 - Mantralaya to Pratiksha Nagar. A passenger, advocate S Balakrishnan, said, "It reached Metro junction and then the driver took a right turn. This was when all of us, especially a woman senior citizen, objected."
According to a statement by the BEST spokesperson, the issue was forwarded to senior officials from BEST's transport wing who assured that appropriate actions would be taken against the duo.
One of the committee members, Ravi Raja stated that there were a few commuters who had approached him with a complaint.
