Mumbai, Dec 16: Ganiga Samaja held its 22nd annual meeting at Pejavar math, Santacruz east on December 15. Ganiga Samaja president, Kutpady Ramachandra M Ganiga who chaired the meeting lit the lamp and set the meeting in progress. He said that human beings should develop the habit of helping at least their community members. Office bearers were present.

Chief secretary, Chandrashekar R Ganiga informed the annual activities and tabled the annual accounts. Office bearers distributed scholarships and prizes to the community students.

Most of the Ganiga community members in greater Mumbai were present. Vidwan Pavan Acharya performed pujas and blessed the gathering. A Haladi Kumkuma programme was held under the leadership of ladies wing president, Tara N Bhatkal.

Vice-president, B V Rao sang a prayer, welcomed the gathering and conducted the meeting. Chandrashekar R Ganiga rendered the vote of thanks.
