Mumbai, Dec 26: The youth committee of Billavara Association inaugurated the annual sports meet ‘Koti Chennaya 2019’ at University sports ground, Mumbai University, Marine lines west on December 25. Entrepreneur Vedaprakash Sriyan inaugurated the meet.

The sports meet was presided over by Billavara Association president, Chandrashekar S Poojary. Billavara Association office bearers, community leaders and sportspersons wished success for the sports.

International sportsperson, Dayananda Kumar cooperated by being sports referee. Akshaya monthly magazine editor, Harish K Hejmady, Ravi Sanil Dombivli, Dinesh B Ameen, Rikita Sanil, Saumya Poojary and others announced the sports details. Muddu Anchan sang a prayer song in the form of Yakshagana. Youth committee president Nagesh N Kotian welcomed the gathering. Dhananjay Shanti gave an introductory address, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Youth wing organizer, Sadashiva A Karkera rendered the vote of thanks.
