Mumbai: Bhandary Seva Samiti holds annual get-together

Mumbai, Dec 27: Bhandary Seva Samiti held its annual get-together for the year 2019 at Mulund west on Wednesday December 25. Seva Samiti president, advocate R M Bhandary presided over the programme. Former president, advocate Sundar G Bhandary was the chief guest.

Cabinet Systems and Controls Private Limited managing director, former president of the Samiti, Balakrishna Puttur said that none of us should be deprived of education. We should indulge in self employment instead of wandering about looking for jobs after education.



Community elders, Dr Shivarama K Bhandary and Anushree Shivaram, Jaya P Bhandary and Shashi Bhandary couples were felicitated by Keshava T Bhandary and mother Kitty Bhandary. Competition winners were presented prizes and scholarships to students sponsored by Sulochana Balakrishna were presented in memory of late Mahalinga Bhandary and late Sushila Achanna Bhandary. Office bearers of the samiti and elite were present.

Members performed bhajans the whole day. Family members of the samiti performed dances and presented entertainment and cultural programme. Sachin Bhandary presented Namma Ooru programme. Jayasheela U Bhandary performed ‘Sundara Ravana’ janapada.

Gayatri N Bhandary sang a prayer song. Samiti vice-president, Prabhaker P Bhandary welcomed the gathering. Honorary chief secretary, Shashidhar D Bhandary gave an introductory address, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Kshama R Bhandary and Shreyal Y Bhandary compered the cultural programme. Saritha Bhandary rendered the vote of thanks.
