Mangalore, Sep 18:
The administration’s negligence in keeping roads in good condition causes the common man to suffer the most. Potholes on the roads have affected those who use two-wheelers and commuters traveling by bus.

A strange twist of destiny was witnessed in an incident on Thursday September 17 at Thokkottu Junction near Ullal, which caused many to send heartfelt thanks to God for keeping them safe.

A large truck carrying cars fell on the road, damaging a Maruti car parked beside the national highway. The driver lost control of the truck when trying to avoid a pothole on the road.

Luckily, the owner and passengers of the car were at a hotel nearby and escaped harm miraculously. The driver and conductor of the truck suffered minor injuries.

The place where the incident occurred normally sees a large number of people awaiting buses. However, at the time of the accident, there was no one at the spot, which to many seems to be a result of divine intervention. As a result, a major tragedy was avoided.

The owner of the damaged car lodged a complaint at Ullal police station and a case was registered.
