Mangalore: Tina Patricia D’Souza Tops UNDPI All India Essay Competitions

Tina Patricia D’Souza has bagged the first place in the All India Essay Competitions held by the United Nations Department of Public Information, recently. The event saw 75,000 participants.



Tina has also bagged the ‘Extraordinary Konkani Person Award – 2009’ in education, during ‘Konkani Manyata Divas’ held at Kalaangann here. It was jointly organized by Konkani Prachar Sanchalan and Mandd Sobhann.
 
She had also topped the entire Dakshina Kannada district and stood second in Karnataka in the II PUC examinations held in 2008.
 
Tina is now studying in II B Com at St Agnes College.  She is the daughter of Patrick and Sylvia D’Souza of Holy Cross parish, Cordel.
