Kundapur: ‘Ko Ma Karanth Award’ Conferred on Philanthropist Dr P Dayanand Pai

Kundapur, Sep 20:
Dr P Dayanand Pai, founder of Bangalore based Century Builders, a philanthropist and a native of Panemangalur, Bantwal taluk, was presented with the ‘Ko Ma Karanth Award’ (Kota Mahabaleshwar Karanth Award), during the annual day celebrations of ‘Kundaprabha’, Kannada periodical published from the taluk, on Saturday September 19.



The event was held at Rotary Laxminarasimha Kala Mandir and Karnataka Bank chairman Anantakrishna presided.
 
Hyderabad hotelier Neraballi Raghavendra Rao released a special issue of ‘Kundaprabha’ on the occasion. 
 
City planning authority president Manigopal and MLC Srinivas Poojary were the chief guests.
 
U S Shenoy welcomed the gathering.  K Shivananda Karanth delivered the introductory speech and K Ramananda Karanth compered the programme.
