Mangalore: Bajpe Parish Catholic Sabha Unit Organizes Games for Parishioners

Catholic Sabha unit of St Joseph’s parish, Bajpe, here organized various games for the parishioners on Sunday September 20.
 
The competition, tug-of-war for both parish women and men and breaking the pot for parishioners, was a major attraction for the viewers.  


 
Fr Mathias Pereira, parish priest of St Joseph’s parish, Bajpe honoured the parishioners who have served in the Indian Armed Forces at the valedictory ceremony. Bajpe parish council vice-president Sylvester D’Souza and secretary David D’Souza were present.
 
Eugene D’Souza introduced the honoured armed personnel. Basil D’Souza compered the programme. Bajpe Catholic Sabha president Joachim D’Costa welcomed and secretary Gracy Sequeira proposed the vote of thanks.
 
The cultural programmes with family themes received viewers’ appreciation. City-based Cambridge School chairman and parishioner Collin Albuquerque and family were the sponsors.
