Mangalore: Bishop Inaugurates Cana Matrimonial Service

Mangalore, Sep 26: The inauguration of the Cana Matrimonial service, a new venture of Family Life Service Centre of Mangalore Diocese was held at Shanthi Kiran, Bajjodi on 26th September at 9.00am.

The Bishop of Mangalore Rt Dr. Aloysius P. D’Souza presided over the programme and Fr. Vincent Monteiro, the director of the Pastoral institute was the chief guest.

Fr.Santhosh Rodrigues the director of the Family Life Service Centre welcomed the gathering and read out the objectives of this service.
























The Bishop of Mangalore inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and unveiling the Logo of the Cana Matrimonial.  In his address he explained the Christian concept of marriage and made it clear that the Cana Matrimonial is not a match making service but to help the catholic faithful to find a suitable partner for marriage. He further said that finding a right partner will make a happy married life.
