Moodbidri, Oct 12: Students will be allowed to participate in ‘Alva’s Nudisiri - 2009', the annual event to celebrate Kannada language and culture, being organized by Alva's Education Foundation, without having to pay anything. Interested students have been provided with an opportunity to satisfy their interest about the literature and culture of Karnataka through this measure.

The programme will be held on November 6, 7 and 8. Dr Hampa Nagaranaiah will preside. On all the three days, the participants will be provided free lodging facility and food.

Interested educational institutions or the students, should register names, coupled with the permission letter from the head of the institution, by sending the same to Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva's Education Foundation, Moodbidri, so as to reach him before October 30.
