Mangalore, Oct 15: United Christian Association (Regd) here collected funds and relief materials meant for conducting relief operations for the people of North Karnataka, who have lost their loved ones, homes, crops, cattle etc., in the recent rains and floods.
A sum of Rs 53,105 collected by the Association was handed over at the city office of TV9 TV channel here on Wednesday October 14, along with rice and clothes, towards the relief operations for the flood victims, launched by the channel. Association president, Alban Menezes and other members were present on the occasion.
