Mangalore: Bus Cleaner's Death - Murder Accused Arrested

Mangalore, Oct 19: Relating to the murder of a bus cleaner named Prakash Bhat in the sevice bus stand in the city on Friday October 17, the policemen of the Pandeshwar Police Station in the city have arrested a person named Chandrashekhar M (30), who has been accused of killing Bhat.
Chandrashekhar is a resident of Ira in Bantwal taluk. He works as the cleaner of a private bus here. It is learnt that he worked as a part time coolie too.
Being from the same profession, he had developed a friendship with Bhat. On Friday night, both were involved with a drunken brawl, after consuming liquor. When Chandrashekhar hit Prakash Bhat hard, it turned lethal, as Bhat’s vital organs were damaged and Bhat was instantly killed, the policemen say.
