Mangalore: NMPT Signs Project with SICAL


Mangalore, Oct 20 (DHNS): New Mangalore Port Trust has signed concession agreement with Sical Iron Ore Terminal (Mangalore) Ltd for the setting up of iron ore handling facilities at Deep Draft Multi Purpose Berth(No 14) on build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. 

NMPT Chairman P Tamilvanan signed the agreement on behalf of the Board of Trustees of NMPT with Managing Director of SICAL L R Sridhar. The estimated project cost is  Rs 277.11 crore. The firm has offered 37 per cent gross revenue share to the port and Rs 11 crore as license fee every year, informed a press release.
