Mumbai, Feb 14: A psychologist was arrested after a 20-year-old patient accused him of raping her in the pretext of treatment. The girl said that he raped her for nearly a year, between 2018 and 2019.

As per police sources, “According to the complainant, the accused forced her into a sexual relationship on the pretext of treatment and had also shot videos of the rape.”

As per complaint filed, the complainant had gone for treatment to the psychologist at Borivali in 2018. The accused forced her into a sexual relationship in the shade of treatment and had also shot videos of the rape.

After a year of ordeal, the girl went to another psychologist for treatment.

“She had not told her family the reason for going to another psychologist. It was only during the counseling sessions with new psychologist that the woman opened up about being raped and blackmailed by the earlier counselor," said police sources.

The new psychologist, as soon on knowing everything, quickly informed the girl’s family about the rape and immediately a complaint was filed with the police. The police said that the psychologist has been booked for committing rape and is in their custody.

You cannot clap with one hand.
This looks like a revenge for not meeting her demands in a relationship.
She isn't dumb to go back again after getting raped for the first time.
She had provided her consent and hence it continued for 1 year.
Anyways the male psychologist will be s......d because of India law system which has numerous loop holes.
