New Delhi, Feb 15: Protesters at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi are all set to follow home minister Amit Shah's advice. The home minister had recently announced that if anyone has a problem with Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), they could meet and discuss with him.
On Sunday February 16 at around 2 pm, thousands of protesters will march to Shah’s house and demand that CAA be revoked.
One of the protesters told the media that they are doing exactly what the home minister told. "Shah has invited anyone with a problem with CAA to meet him and discuss the issue with him. All protesters at Shaheen Bagh have a problem. So we are doing exactly the same. We are just accepting his invitation," he said.

Shaheen Bagh has become the epicentre of protests against the CAA. Since December 15, one can see people participating in continuous sit-in demanding the withdrawal of CAA.
Meanwhile, sources from the home ministry told media that they have not been formally approached yet.
The anti-CAA protesters claims that the CAA discriminates people on the basis of religion and hence violates the Constitution.
CAA states that members of Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian communities who have been persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan on basis of religion and sought refuge in India before December 31, 2014 will not be considered as illegal immigrants. However, Muslims are not included.
Protesters allege that CAA and NRC are specifically introduced to target Muslim community, while the ruling government denies these allegations.
