Mangalore, Nov 30: Elocution competition was held by Catholic Sabha, Kinnigoli Varado here in Little flower School Hall, recently.
The winners who got first and second place in the unit elocution competition took part in this competition. The competition was conducted in Konkani and Kannada language for children of standard I to the adults. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners.
Alphonse D”Souza, president, Catholic Sabha, Kinnigoli Varado welcomed the participants, judges for the competition and gathering. Vincent D’Souza, principal of Rotary English Medium School and the judge for the competition gave valuable information and tips to the participant on how to make effective speech. Herbert Lobo, secretary, Catholic Sabha, Kinnigoli Varado proposed the vote of thanks. Eric Pais compered the programme.
