Beltangady: Bus Plunges into Drain at Gerukatte – 25 Injured

Beltangady, Dec 2: A private bus moving to Guruvayankere from Uppinangady plunged into a roadside drain on Tuesday December 1. The driver lost control of the vehicle just before the accident.

About 25 people were injured in the accident, including the bus driver, Subrahmanya, passengers,Netravati, Ashok, Usha, Sudhir, Ashalata and Bifatumma, who were admitted as in-patients in the hospital here.

Others were treated as out-patients. On a complaint filed by Shekhar Gowda from Nala, the local policemen have registered a case.
