Mumbai, Apr 6: Harish Shetty Yermal, entrepreneur, a social worker who grows paddy in his hometown Udupi during April – May otherwise is actively providing food to the needy in Mumbai this year.

He has made Borivali as the centre for his noble work. He oversees preparation and distribution of over 5,000 food packets every day and distributes them among service-oriented departments and the underprivileged.









Harish Shetty is the vice president of the new project committee for education of Bantara Sangha, Mumbai. He was the vice president of Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (Ahaar) and is well known as Yermal Harish in Mumbai. He is also the executive president of Christi Hotels Private limited and the proprietor of Matra Residency Madh Island, Malad. He has been active in social work. Several people have commended his service.
