Mumbai, Apr 27: Well-known social worker, Dr Rajani V Pai, president of the ladies wing of Mumbai Kannada Sangha who is working for the welfare of women and children residing in Mulund distributed a large amount of ration and items of daily use to the needy in the vicinity.
She had extended monetary help for the surgery of a woman suffering from cancer at Andheri east last week. She has been visiting slums, identifying those in distress and helping them.
She was bestowed an honorary doctorate for social work, Karnataka Vikas Rathna, Saurabh Rathna, Bengaluru Ratna 2018, Kriyasheela Kannadathi, international golden achievements award, Vishwamanya Kannadiga award 2019 as well as other awards and honors.
