Bellary, Feb 2: The number of people who lost their lives in the worst-ever tragedy in the city, rose to 20 on Monday February 1.

The operation to extricate the bodies of the buried labourers continued on Monday, during which, eight more bodies of the labourers were found. Bodies of four members of the same family from Hinisehole village of Surpur taluk in Yadagiri district were found from a single spot.

All the bodies belong to labourers who were working at the site. Seven bodies could be identified so far, while the other body, which is of a man aged around 40 years, could not be identified. This body was taken to the VIMS Hospital's mortuary for post mortem.
