Udupi, Feb 6: Alva’s College, Moodbidri bagged the championship at ‘Vidyottana – 2010’, Mangalore University inter-collegiate talent contest, hosted by Vidyaniketan College, Kaup, on Wednesday February 3 and Thursday February 4. 

Nitte College were the runners-up. Union home department officer Janardhan presented the championship to the winners. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that talent contests indeed facilitate the personality development of students. 
 
Vidyaniketan Group of Education Institutions correspondent K P Acharya presided over the programme.
 
Vidyaniketan Group administrator Prof V K Udyavar, student council president Sharat Kumar, and college principal Prof Gopalakrishna Kidiyoor were present on the dais.
 
Lecturer Divyasri B welcomed the gathering.  Student council secretary Shilpasri Karant proposed the vote of thanks.  Rahisa and Roopasri compered the programme.
