Honnavar, Feb 10: Konkani Sahitya Academy (KSA) will hold ‘Konkani Janapad Utsav’, a two-day Konkani folklore extravaganza at the Arabian seashore, Kasarakod here from Saturday March 20 to Sunday March 21. The programme is organized with a aim to promote Konkani folklore that has been an integral part of coastal residents.
 
KSA also aims to compile any distinct Konkani folklore that has not been incorporated so far. Janapad Utsav will cover all forms of folklore prevalent among the Konkani community in the Uttar Karnataka.

All those Konkani folklore groups active in the sphere are advised to enroll their names, address, contact numbers and send the profile of all folklore artistes within the group, besides the information on folklore programmes staged by the group.
