Well begun is half done. For a successful Clean City campaign, involvement of all city dwellers is essential. In order to make it a success, the Corporation should involve all schools, colleges, all institutions of learning, offices - private and public, all business establishments including hawkers and road-side vendors, temples, mosques and churches. I am sure, with a Core Committee at Corporation level and Sub-committees at ward level to implement and monitor a clearcut & well defined agenda for a period of five years, can bring success to the programme. Besides CLEAN, the activity may include ' GREEN ' also and finally lead to a holistic approach, a model for rest of the cities in the country. Goodluck.!
