Mumbai: Seven air quality monitors dysfunctional in city

Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai (SD)

Mumbai, Jul 24: Some monitors checking the air quality of the city have seemed to be dysfunctional for a while.

Safar's three out of ten monitoring stations have been dysfunctional while four out of 15 MPCB monitors in the city have been dysfunctional for a while.

The Safar officials clarified that the reasons for the three dysfunctional monitors was that the monitors were not accessible as they were close to the containment zones. MPCB, on the other hand, reasoned that the monitor's defect was due to lockdown restrictions.
