Kamala Harris will be Biden's boss if elected: Trump

By Arul Louis

New York, Aug 18 (IANS): US President Donald Trump has asserted that California Senator Kamala Harris would be former Vice President Joe Biden's "boss" if the two Democratic Party candidates defeat him and assume the nation's top jobs.

After repeatedly questioning the mental acuity of Biden, who is to be the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, Trump asked on Monday, "Do you want to crush our economy under the crazy socialist policies of sleepy Joe Biden and his boss Kamala Harris?"

Harris, Biden's running mate, is to be the party's vice-presidential candidate.

Speaking at a rally in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Trump referred to Biden's mental powers and said: "He's shot, he's shot."

After mentioning instances of Biden misspeaking and his refusal to hold open press conferences, Trump made the dig about Harris and also House Speaker Nancy Pelosi being his boss.

If elected, Biden who will turn 78 in January 20121 would be the oldest person to assume the presidency, while Harris would be 56.

To needle the Democrats in his usual style, Trump stopped at the Oshkosh airport, about 100 km from Milwaukee, the official venue of the Democratic National Convention, which is being held remotely, and held a rally of a few hundred people in front of his Air Force One jetliner.

After saying Harris would be the "boss", Trump then turned on her saying she had left the Democratic Party primaries - the internal election - "in shame" with her poll numbers going from 14 percent to 2 percent.

He called her "mean" and "angry".

Biden was a "trojan horse for socialism," who "has no clue, but the people around him are tough and they're smart", he said, adding: "They're mean and they're angry like her."

Trump raked up Harris's criticism of Biden for racial insensitivity when she was running against him for the party nomination.

"Nobody treated Joe Biden worse than Kamala," he said.

"She was worse than anybody on (the debate) stage. Nobody treated him worse or with less respect. She had no respect. All of a sudden she's now saying he's wonderful. She didn't feel that way a little while ago."

Trump said that if Biden and Harris won, "China will own the US".

He claimed that "time and again, sleepy Joe Biden put China first and America last" and then brought up the business dealings of Biden's son Hunter with Chinese companies.

Hunter Biden "had absolutely no experience (but) walked away with one and a half billion dollars to manage, that's millions of dollars a year", the President asserted.

Trump said that crime would shoot up in the US because of the movement backed by the Democrats, under a Biden-Harris administration.

The movement against police brutality and racial injustice has sometimes turned violent and into demands for disbanding police or cutting finance for police.

Note that Indian IT industry has been benefited immensely by Trump admin. Lowest unemployment in the history for Indians,Asians ,blacks& minorities.Trump still popular among working class.. Present gang violence in cities conrolled by democrats. Further, although Biden is leading ,Trump appears closing the gap. Trump actively working 18 hrs a day,Biden sitting in the bunker basement of his house and not taking any questions from the press. Appears interesting election.

Indian-Americans are not a significant vote bank in US Elections when compared to Whites, Blacks and Hispanics. Most of the Blacks and Hispanics prefer Democratic Party and Biden and Harris can rely on them. Majority of the Whites support Republicans. Eventhough Biden is leading in the opinion polls , Trump may spring a surprise. Most of the mainstream Media houses in US are very critical of Trump thereby making Trump unpopular. However Indian-Americans may not fully go with Democratic party. In fact Trump has been a friend of our Indian Government and therefore many Indian-Americans will vote for him. Some Indian-Americans are thinking of Mrs. Harris as Indian origin but she is an American fully. Let us wait till November.

for America, it is a lose-lose situation... if Biden wins, blacks will dominate / define America... if Trump wins, it will increase white dislike and reluctant acceptance of backs and immigrants...

Blacks, Latino and Chinese voters are the vote bank for demo(n)crats... Due to Namaste Trump, Howdy Modi etc. etc. Biden and Kamala Harris know whom Indians will vote...

Kamala Harris projects herself as Black, realising that black votes matter more than Indian votes...

Because of Trump America and Americans, lost respect and prestige. Trump is not good for politics and diplomacy. During Era of Bush, Clinton and Obama, all countries had respect to America for their courage and involvement in world events.

Finally, Trump is jittery. There is bound to be a division of Indian votes in USA elections. Thanks to the masterstroke in Kamala Harris's nomination. All drama in Howdy Mody and Namaste Trump will collapse post-elections. Biden has hit Trump where it hurts him most. Wherever they are, Indians will not let down a fellow Indian.

Kamala Harris father is African from Jamaica and mother is Indian from Tamilnadu. She is American Citizen by birth.

Its foolish to thump our chest that Indian ( Kamala Harris ) became Vice President. Once the person climbed up in US Political career ladder he/She not bother of his or her parents native country. To them US and its prosperity is always first. Next Preference will be Israel. Without supporting Israel US politicians cant survive,

Just visit some of the middle eastern countries where millions of Indians are employed and see how they get treated by some of their Indian employers and bosses and you will have the answers. Also visit the north Indian states and see how weaker sections of the society get treated by the affluent and people in power.
