Bangalore, Mar 24: Former Olympic Hockey Champion Ashish Ballal and wife Sahana, National Rally champion Vikram Mathias, ace music director Guru Kiran and film director Sundeep Malani came together at the Coastal Nite party at ZEUS Sports Lounge here, recently.
 
It was interesting to see the hockey expert and motorsporting champion exchanging views on the ongoing IPL series. Gurukiran made a grand entry and was pleasantly surprised to meet his longtime friend Ashish Ballal.

Ashish and Gurukiran broke into fluent Tulu, while Vikram mingled with media with his usual flair. He was caught speaking in fluent Konkani to a media representative from Mangalore.

Sundeep Malani was found discussing his upcoming English film "The cover of the night, which he is working together with renowned producer Behram F.Laskari.

DJ Prachi (Resident DJ - Beach Club, The Paradise Isle, Malpe) was the guest DJ at the event, where he spun the best of Tech House and Progressive that kept the guests on their feet throughout the evening.

There were host of IPL merchandise from Kingfisher up for grabs for the guests through a lucky draw. The host, Akshat Mudbidri called upon Ashish Ballal, Gurukiran, Sundeep Malani and Vikram Mathias to give away the goodies like wrist watches, Royal Challenger T-Shirts, table clocks, autographed miniature bats and key chains to the lucky winners.

The highlight of the event was to bring together all the Mangalorean celebrities across Bangalore on a common platform where they could catch up on the sports scene and also to watch the ongoing IPL matches.

The event was presented and produced by Mangalore-based events company "Adventure, Event.Advertising.Promo." The young creative team comprising Sean Poovaiya, Mohammed Irfan, Denver Rodrigues and Akshat Mudbidri co-ordinated the event successfully by bringing together their skills in photography, compering, public relations and production.
