Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (VA)

Udupi, Mar 25:  The second decennial celebration of Catholic Sabha Milagres, Kallianpur unit was held at Kallianpur Milagres School ground here recently.

Walter Cyril Pinto, president of the unit and vice- president of central committee presided.

Founder spiritual director, Fr William Gonsalves and former presidents and secretaries were felicitated on the occasion. Fr Assissi Almeida who secured first rank in Mangalore University was also felicitated.

Dr Gerald Pinto presented the report of 20 years. A directory edited by Elias Crasto of the parish was released by Jochim Pinto.  Fr Gonsalves called upon the members to serve the needy.

Later the local artists staged a Konkani drama ‘Shipaygiri’ written by Dolphy Cassia and directed by Reginald Furtado. Professor Hilda D’ Silva compered the programme.
