Udupi, Mar 25:
Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, Kannada post graduation department of Government First Grade College, Tenka Nidiyoor and Tulu Mitrer, Bangalore, jointly organized Academy endowment lecture and Mandara Ramayana seminar at Christian High School hall here on Thursday March 25.


Dr N B Vijay Ballal, managing trustee of Sri Laxmi Janardhan temple, Ambalapady inaugurated the programme.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nidwannaya said that Tulu is gracious and independent language. Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam have become backbone of respective states.  Meanwhile, Tulu has no separate state, hence there is a need for coastal residents to strive for the sustenance of Tulu, said Dr Nidwannaya.
 
Dr Padmanabha Kekunnaya presided. Janapada scholar Bannanje Babu Amin and Christian High School head teacher Helen Salins was present.
 
Dr Gananath Yekkar welcomed the gathering.  Duggappa Kajekar proposed the vote of thanks.  Dr Niketan compered the programme.

    TULUNAD STATE "is the the need of the hour" if we dont demand it ,who else will demand for us . Dr N B Vijay Ballal you have the ability to start a organisation which can fight for Tulu .
