Mangalore, Mar 28: Catholic devouts all over Dakshina Kannada district Celebrated Palm Sunday, the holy Sunday before Good Friday that marks the end of Lent.

Paldane church here reflected the scene that is almost similar in every church in the region wherein Catholic brethren holding palm leaves visited their parishes in gorups. This day according to Bible, Jesus Christ the saviour entered Jerusalem to a rouding reception of his disciples, who welcomed him waving palm leaves, a gesture that signifies the victory of good over evil.

Devotees held a procession also towards churches in Milagres,Valencia and Bendore in the city among others.

Beautiful pictures and the never ending memory. Good to see people with palms memorizing Jesus's agony in advance and a good way of preparation towards Good Friday. Thank you and God bless daiji team for all facilities providing to us with no churches to attend over here in Saudi Arabia. I am confident for my agonized Jesus who is in my heart foor 365 days. Beautiful pictures 'Daiji'. Thanks !! Looks like little Jerusalem. May the whole world receive Jesus as people of Jerusalem received Him two thousand years ago and no Judas may prevail amongst us to betray Him.'Hosanna in the highest'.
