Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 6: In a bid to take strict measures and control the ongoing pandemic Iqbal Singh Chahal, civic chief has warned all the hospitals including government, municipalities, private and nursing home not to directly admit Covid positive patients without intimating local ward war rooms. He said that hospitals continued admitting patients without intimating the war rooms.

The civic chief issued the urgent notice late on Monday, October 5 and said that the support of private hospitals have become imperative in larger public interest as the state is witnessing increasing Covid-19 patients and very high occupancy of ICU beds in municipal hospitals. This would help meet the requirements of critical Covid patients.

He said that hospitals would admit Covid patients who show moderate to severe symptoms with reference to the war rooms.
