Mangalore: 15-year-old Drowns in Sea near Suratkal

Mangalore, Apr 25: In an unfortunate incident that occurred in the late evening on Saturday April 24, a 15-year-old drowned in sea at Guddekoply near Suratkal here.

The boy has been identified as Ninad alias Chittu, a resident of Kadambody and son of businessman Mahabala Poojary. Ninad had been to the sea for a swim along with his friends, Pramod and Pawan, when unfortunately Ninad was swept away by the heavy waves. 





Intense search operations are on to fish out the body of the boy. District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar visited the spot and consoled the family members.
