Mangalore: Gold Ornaments Worth Rs 15 Lac Stolen

Mangalore, Apr 25: Some thieves bumped into the Kinya Natekal house at Konaje Cross, here and have looted 100 sovereign gold ornaments worth Rs 15 lac. 

The incident came to light when the house owner Noor Mohammad returned home from Ullal urus on Saturday April 24 morning. 

Though all the compartments of the cupboard were locked the house members had hanged the key bunch in the cupboard itself which might have eased the job of the thieves. 

The police have traced the fingerprints and other clues. Inspector Lingappa Poojari, Crime sub-inspector Shyanma Sundar, Konaje sub-inspector Sunil B Patil visited the place and carried out investigation.
