Udupi: Popular Tulu Play ‘Tilake Tirgaye’ Completes 100 Shows

The 100th show of popular Tulu play ‘Tilake Tirgaye’ by Rangataranga Kalavidaru, Kaup, was staged at Mahadevi High School Ground, Kaup, on Sunday May 30.
 


Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon presided over the celebration and honoured the artistes of the troupe.
 
Play director Bharat Kumar Polipu and Ba Su Ma Kodagu were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Rangataranga convener Sanjeev D Kanchan, Vaishali Hotel proprietor Nayesh Shetty, and Rangataranga president Prakash Kotian, were present on the dais.
 
Rangataranga convener Leeladar Shetty delivered the introductory address. 
 
Century celebration committee secretary Sadashiv Bhat welcomed the gathering.  Prasad Kutyar compered the programme.
