Mangalore, Jun 2: Monsoon is considered as the most appropriate time for shodhana (detoxification) and rejuvenation.  The new monsoon showers refresh the mother earth affected in summer.  Our bodies too are sapped of its energy during summer and need rejuvenation.  Ayurveda has many methods and procedures to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul.  Panchakarma, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Navarakili, Pizhichil, Kalari, Elakili are few of them.

As monsoon is just setting in Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram, Vamanjoor has brought out special packages for the season. The packages are of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, 21 days and 3 and 6 months duration and will be offered at a concessional rate from June 1 to July 31.

Procedures / treatments will be supplemented with required diet, according to ones health conditions.

Established in the year 2008, Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram, Vamanjoor, is functioning under the able guidance of Dr Srilatha Shetty, who has vast knowledge and good experience in the field of Ayurveda.
