Mangalore: Two-day Seminar at SDM College Inaugurated

Mangalore, Jun 4: A two-day seminar jointly organized by Karnataka Sahitya Academy and Natha Sampradaya Prachara Samiti was inaugurated at the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) College on Friday May 4.


 

Litterateur Amrutha Someshwar inaugurated the seminar. Prof M H Krishnayya, academy president, Dr Neelakanta Swamiji from Gorakhnath Tapovana, Tiptur, K Narayan Sharma, entrepreneur from Sagar near Shimoga were the chief guests.

Ambatanaya Mudradi, member convenor, Karnataka Sahitya Academy, V N Mallikarjunaswami, registrar, Karnataka Sahitya Academy, Jogi Anandanath, convenor Natha Sampradaya Prachara Samiti and Dr Keshavanath, samiti secretary were present.

The two-day progranne will comprise special lecture on natha pantha and also musical night on Friday. A lecture programme and valedictory will be held on Saturday June 5.
