Mangalore: District SP Dr Subrahmanyeshwar Rao Reports Back for Duty

Mangalore, Jun 4: Proving some leaders, who had claimed that Dakshina Kannada district superintendent of police (SP), Dr Subrahmanyeshwar Rao, would be transferred out of the district upon completion of his training wrong, the SP completed his training and reported for duties on Wednesday June 2.

He had been posted to under special two-month training at Hyderabad. During his absence, Seemant Kumar Singh had taken charge as the commissioner at the local commissionerate.  Sources said that the commissionerate will function from the police guest house till it gets a new office.
