Kundapur, Jan 9: Chandra Devadiga (42), a resident of Neramballi in Hanglur village here, ended his life by jumping into a well that does not have a protective wall.
Devadiga was unmarried and eked out a living by working as coolie. He was suffering from depression and was also being treated for this problem.
The family members had seen him going to bed on the night of January 7. On the next day, he was not to be seen. The family members went searching on Friday and found his body floating in the said well located in the farm of the family. In a report filed in the police station here, the family members said that Chandra Devadiga ended his life, having been frustrated with his life.
