Udupi: Congress party considers both winners, losers in elections as leaders – Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi, Jan 11: A programme to congratulate both the winning candidates and those who contested from Congress party and lost in the recent gram panchayat elections was held at district Congress Bhavan by the Udupi bock committee on Sunday January 10.

Former minister, Pramod Madhwaraj said that Congress who supported both winners and losers in the gram panchayat elections are the leaders for the party. He called all to work sincerely serving the people and strengthening the party. District block Congress convener, Y Sukumar directed to prepare a committee comprising of 25 activists in every booth, stressing on organizing the party and always remaining in contact with the people.

Block president, Sathish Ameen Padukere who presided over the programme asked to be prepared for upcoming taluk panchayat and district panchayat elections. District publicity committee president Dinesh Putran, district Congress vice-president and panchayat member Prakhyat Shetty, state Congress backward class unit secretary Yathish Karkera, district Congress chief secretary B Narashima Murthy, B Kushal Shetty, district Kisan unit president Eldoor Shashidhar Shetty, N S U I district president Saurabha Ballal, former block president Mahabla Kunder, block SC unit president Ganesh Nergi, ST unit president Ananth Nayak, former municipal council president Meenakshi Madhava Bannanje, council member Ramesh Kanchan, observer Sukhesh Kunder, Madhava Bannaje, Akash, Lakshmana Poojary Perampalli and Social media’s Hamad and others were present. Block chief secretary, Janardhan Bhandarkar compered the programme.
