Udupi, Jan 11: “Congress candidates contesting elections from gram panchayat to parliament levels are sure to be victorious if they remain sincere to Congress principles and the efforts of the activists will be rewarded,” opined KPCC coordinator Harish Kini.

He addressed a programme as chief guest held to congratulate Roopesh Devadiga and Srilatha, Congress supported candidates who contested gram panchayat elections at Padu Alevoor fourth ward and were victorious and to thank the voters.

Block Congress president, Praveen Shetty, social activist Sridhar Devadiga, Hindu Congress leaders Gopala Serigar and entrepreneur Harish Kulal were present. Both the Congress supported winning and losing candidates were felicitated on the occasion.

Youth Congress leader Ashok Sherigar compered the programme. Mahila Congress president Lalita Serigar welcomed the gathering. Youth Congress president Sathish Sherigar rendered a vote of thanks.
