Udupi: Thieves break into parked car, steal items worth Rs 47,000

Udupi, Jan 13: In an incident which took place near Kadiyali here, the glass of the left door of a car was smashed and items worth Rs 47,000 were stolen. 

The complainant Nagaraj Kotian, owner of Shri Poorna Home Appliances, had parked his vehicle in Kadiyali and had gone to Manipal. On returning he noticed his car was forcibly broken into and items worth Rs 47,000 which were inside the car were stolen. The items included a mobile charger and other valuables.

A case under Section 427, 379 IPC, Crime No 09/2021 has been registered in the Udupi police station.
