Mangalore, Jun 15: The new office of city-based Konkani Prachar Sanchalan; an organization engaged in promoting Konkani studies in schools was inaugurated on Tuesday June 15. Entrepreneur Ronald Colaco inaugurated the new office located besides Kalaangann at Shaktinagar here. 

Konkani Sahitya Academy former president and Mandd Sobhann Pirjent Eric Ozario expressed concern over the slow progress in promoting Konkani studies in various schools. 



























Ozario announced that the committee member Vitori Karkal will be available at the new office of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan for three days a week, to fulfill the task of promoting Konkani studies in various schools.  He also expressed the hope that the objective of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan will be realized through introducing Konkani up to Class IX this academic year. He also acknowledged the support of Konkans in this regard. 

Konkani Kutam Bahrain promoter Richard Moras was the guest of honour. Konkani Prachar Sanchalan president Roy Castelino welcomed the gathering.
