Mangaluru: Suphala Farmers Producers Company Limited office inaugurated

Mangaluru, Jan 18: On Saturday, January 16, Suphala Farmers Producers Company Limited was inaugurated at Atal Incubation Centre, NITTE.

CA SS NAYAK, chairman, ICAI Mangaluru branch, Dr Ashok Alur, director, Centre of Excellence for Farmer Producer Organization, Glory Swarupa, director-general, National Institute of MSMEs Hyderabad, Dr P Chandra Shekara, director, NIAM Hyderabad were the chief guests. N T Poojary, chairman, Naveen Nayak, MD, other directors and members of Suphala Farmer Producer Company were present.

CA SS Nayak appreciated AIC NITTE for incubating Suphala as it was set up as a part of PM Narendra Modi’s vision to start 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations across India. 

The newly instituted company is looking to take agriculture beyond the realms of the traditional sector and spur a new era of agripreneurship by uplifting the life of farmers in the surrounding areas.

About 33 start-ups have been incubated so far under the aegis of the Atal Incubation Center, said CEO Dr A P Achar.

Dr K Shankaran, director, JKSHIM, NITTE and Prof Yogeesh Hegde, registrar, NET Campus, NITTE conveyed their best wishes on the occasion to all the Farmer Members for coming together to strengthen Aathma Nirbhar Bharath Abhiyan.
