Kasargod: Illegal fishing in Kerala waters - Two Karnataka boats seized

Kasargod, Jan 20: Two boats of Mangaluru origin, which were found to be engaged in fishing illegally at the sea within Kasargod and Kumble limits were seized.

The officials had received complaints about boats from other states engaging in fishing activity in Kerala limits. Under the directions of district deputy director of fisheries, P V Satisan, and superintendent of police, D Shilpa, an operation was undertaken at sea and the erring boats were seized.
