Moodbidri, Jun 18: Haji L R Abdul Laltif Saheb (80), who was widely known as L R in the region, breathed his last on Thursday June 17. He was an entrepreneur, farmer, educationist and social worker par excellence.

L R is survived by wife, a son, and two daughters.

The late Haji Abdul Latif Saheb was running an enterprise with the name, L R. He had functioned as the founder president of S D M Charitable Trust in Kotebagilu, Mohammadiya Arabic College, and Mojammadiya English Medium School. He was a progressive farmer, and continued as an active member and vice-president of Karnataka Rajya Raita Sangha’s Moodbidri zone. He also was a widely known social worker and a generous donor.
