Bantwal: Mini Vidhana Soudha gets solar power

Bantwal, Jan 27: “Though there was a generator in Bantwal Mini Vidhana Soudha, there were power problems due to lack of necessary facilities for it. There will be no power problems after this as solar power has been installed,” said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadi.

Inaugurating solar power facilities at the Mini Vidhan Soudha here, he said that there were some petty problems relating to power. “There were complaints that people are facing hardship due to lack of electricity. Therefore, the solar power facility is installed. Work after this will take place efficiently,” he said.

Taluk panchayat president Chandrahasa Karkera, vice president Abbas Ali, municipal council president Mohammed Sharif, taluk panchayat standing committee president Mallika Shetty, tahsildar Rashmi S R and others were present.
